Cake requests and messages
When you submit a cake request, we collect the contact details, requested pickup date and time, cake choices, notes and inspiration photos you provide. We use them to review your request, prepare an estimate and contact you. Please include only information needed for your request.
Requests are stored in Crosby’s backend and sent to the cake decorator and bakery team. You receive a separate receipt. A cake request is not a confirmed order or payment.
Inspiration photos
Uploaded photos are resized, re-encoded to remove embedded metadata and safety-checked before they are attached to request emails. Photos are not added to the public cake gallery by submitting a request. Email copies may remain with the bakery and in your inbox even after temporary upload records expire.
Website visits
We record page visits, general device categories, referring pages, ordering-link clicks and cake-request progress to understand how the website is used. The analytics uses a temporary visit identifier in your browser’s session storage. It does not include the text you enter in the cake form or your inspiration photos. Our analytics honors browser Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.
Services that help us operate
Our hosting, database, email and security providers help deliver the website and process requests. Cloudflare provides automated abuse protection for the cake form. Online food orders, payments, gift cards and rewards take place through Toast and are covered by Toast’s own privacy information. Links to social media and other websites take you to those services.
